As a counsellor, she helps clients find clarity and feel empowered to move toward what truly matters to them. Her practice focuses on supporting couples, parents, individuals on fertility journeys, children, and teenagers. She works with issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and trauma, using an integrative, trauma-informed approach.

Before becoming a counsellor, Brenda trained as an engineer and spent several years in the corporate sector before transitioning into education, where she worked for eight years with children and adolescents with special educational needs. Esther is a therapist, educator and mental wellness advocate. I believe in the power of connection, resilience, and a little bit of humor. Whether helping children, teens or adults navigate big emotions or crafting mental wellness programs, my approach blends science with heart. My counselling philosophy is rooted in empathy, evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and a deep belief in the power of client’s personal strength and self-compassion. Beyond one-on-one sessions, I design social-emotional learning programs, conduct mental wellness talks, and develop resources to make therapy more accessible and engaging. And when I’m not in session, you’ll find me experimenting with baking—or crafting the perfect treat for both humans and dogs!

I work with both neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals of all ages, tackling different issues from Depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder to Schizophrenia.
